It has been a long, cold winter. This morning the thermometer on the balcony was registering -5 C, and the cars parked below were covered in a brilliant-white frost. Everything looks so crisp and clean..
Last week I found two very interesting and possibly useful websites.
RAC European Route Planner. Where you can enter the start point, town or town plus street address, and the destination, anywhere in Europe, and you'll get a route map with detailed instructions on each road travelled, with distance and estimated time. You can choose up to 5 locations you want the route to pass through and you may select the fastest route or the shortest. Should be useful if you plan to drive to Czech.
The Legacy Project
.. "is a gathering place for people interested in the enduring legacies of the many violent traumas of the 20th century. It dedicated to exploring issues of remembrance in different cultures, in order to better understand the contemporary significance of historical tragedy."
An International project that holds a reasonable collection of Czech literature, film and art. Use their site's search engine, just type - czech.
Until next time, 'Na shledanou'
